The one gripe I have is that you missed deathcore. As a voice of dissent against ‘Amerikkkan’ culture, it has ceased to function. Kool Herc also spoke and rhymed over the songs he played, which was one of the earliest versions of rapping in the hip-hop style. He seems to have a little rap music in him, but he mixes it well enough with today’s country sounds that it works really well.
