Each brass faculty member fully engages with students in their musical growth. One of the best known early types was the valide trombone invented by jazz trombonist and reedist Brad Gowans, which featured a slide on the inside on the valves which did not lock, forcing the player to actively use both hands. Includes case and two mouth pieces - metal for performances and plastic for beginners and practice. Brad restored this one and rebuilt the valve section to it's original configuration of Bb/F/D/Gb.
