I knew this trumpet would be good, but you've made it even better! Brass instruments should be flushed out once a month to clean out any accumulation of dirt and to prevent corrosion. The bell had some minor damage that was rolled out. This particular instrument is about 3 years old. A friend who was with me that day came to the same conclusion regarding which bell was right for me. Some slide trombones have one or (less frequently) two rotary valves operated by a left-hand thumb trigger.
